Ziegenpeter in Duisburg

The restaurant shines in all respects from the decor and the quality of the food to the staff! We love to visit the restaurant again and again! (as soon as Corona allows)

I really like Ziegenpeter, the location as such is great, the breakfast, especially the cheese breakfast, was always great. What I particularly like is working there with disabled people. Touches me a lot and should definitely be supported. So a big compliment and thanks for that

I have never eaten such good cheesecake and have been served very nicely. I can only recommend it.

The staff is very friendly, welcoming and nice however the place and food is average. Probably it is a nice place when you can stay outside and enjoy the weather - otherwise not too special.

Goat Peter, what's going on with you guys? On Sunday mornings my wife and I come to you for brunch, meet questionable staff and poor quality on top of that. Would you like details? When guests appear and greet them, the staff can return the greeting in a friendly manner and take care of the guests. If the staff messes up a simple latte macchiatio, they should at least try it again and not just serve it with the note that it just didn't work ... Getting scrambled eggs with bread to be delicious seems to be a real challenge here. At the end you can ask the guests how / whether it tasted, but apparently nobody cares because you now know that the service and quality are terribly bad. It cannot be that you experience better service and higher quality in system catering (McDonald's). A clear message to Ziegenpeters "Frühdienst": Thumbs down!

Great store! A visit is worthwhile in every season; in summer you sit like on a beach, in winter the rain patters on the windows while you sit in a lovingly furnished restaurant. The staff is always very friendly. The food is great. Dogs are welcome both indoors and outdoors. A beautiful, small pearl in Duisburg

Chill Out type atmosphere, very tasty food

Was here for the first time today on the recommendation of a good friend. From the parking lot outside (Liebigstraße) to the café / restaurant "Ziegenpeter" it is a comfortable 10 minute walk. Just drink a coffee and a portion of scrambled eggs with salt and pepper. Service was very friendly and accommodating: I wanted a table away from the other guests and got the rustic table 65. The coffee was perfect and the portion of scrambled eggs came quickly. The restoration is definitely recommended for brief relaxation. Nice view of the Rhine, deck chairs invite you to linger for a while. The closer environment, with which the café has nothing to do, was not my cup of tea, I expect something different from a park, something very dreary and then of course everything sprayed on with graffiti by some pseudo-artist or just plain smack, heard probably in addition to the skater track in the upper area, probably called cool ghetto Americanization. Anyway, I liked "Ziegenpeter", everything was very clean and the interior is reminiscent of a good living room. When I left there was a long table set up there with all kinds of things, it looked like a buffet? Is that always available on Saturday (?), Information about my recession would be great. I would love to come back anyway.

Very nice employees, delicious food and a view of the Rhine. You can tell that everything is done lovingly and by yourself. The cakes were amazing. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

Nice atmosphere right on the Rhine. Coffee and cake are good at fair prices. Hygiene measures leave a good impression. The staff is friendly. Only the queue at the outside catering is deducting points.

Concept is coherent for a city beach, choice of drinks and food, the food itself is okay, but not outstanding now. For example, had a farmer's salad, the salad was fresh, but overall there were a lot of olives (if you like) and the house yogurt dressing was a bit pale, the bread advertised as freshly baked farmer's bread was more like toast-like white bread ... well.

Lovely food, great staff everyone is very friendly - highly recommend this restaurant.
